The School has since progressed and has recently opened a pool at Les Ormes in St Brelade.

Maureen and her family have been involved in swimming all their lives in various ways. She represented Jersey in the Governor’s cup, back in the dark ages, when the only pool available was the outside sea pool at Harve des Pas!!

Maureen will generally be teaching at the St Lawrence pool concentrating on the younger children to include Parent & Child, pre school and nurseries.

She will also be continuing her therapeutic exercise classes and private teaching for nervous children and adults.

After swimming competitively when he was younger he moved his sights towards teaching when he was 14 and trained up to a full teacher as soon as he was old enough.

Apart from a few years in Jersey Harbours, during his mothers brief retirement, he has been teaching almost ever since.

Malcolm teaches all ages and abilities, from parent and child, to all areas of adult learn to swim, including stroke technique and stamina, which he specialises in. He is very experienced in all levels of learn to swim and will be heading up the teaching at the new pool at Les Ormes.

Malcolm runs the school with Maureen and should you have any queries he would be happy to help.
